Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut released on Mac for Steam Tuesday, publisher Feral Interactive announced.
The expanded version of the Eidos Montreal role-playing first-person shooter improves the game's combat mechanics and AI, refines its visuals, and improves its notorious boss battles.
It also integrates The Missing link, Tong's Rescue Mission, and Tactical Enhancement DLC packs into the main campaign, and adds optional in-game developer commentary and a 45-minute "making of" documentary.
The Mac version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is available exclusively on Steam for $19.99/£12.99
Deus Ex's next instalment is set to be published under a new "ambitious idea" called Deus Ex: Universe, Eidos Montreal studio head David Anfossi said, "an ongoing, expanding and connected game world built across a generation of core games".
The Universe concept will span traditional PC and console games, in addition to mobile projects, books and graphic novels.
The Deus Ex series was expanded with iOS title Deus Ex: The Fall and novel Deus Ex: Icarus Effect.
Square Enix filed for a UK trademark on "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" on March 27.
