Call of Duty: Ghosts getting Snoop Dogg voice DLC

Activision reveals new range of paid customization items

Snoop Dogg has lent his unique mannerisms to an upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts voice pack.

The accomplished rapper announces game events, quipping lines like "squad member active - a brother from another mother" and "rack up points by reaching the enemy portal, y'dig?"

The "Drill Instructor Voice Pack" adds similar vocal contributions from R. Lee Ermey, best known for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket. Both packs cost $2.99 and are planned to arrive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 22, with other platforms to follow.

Activision laid out several more paid customization items planned for April 22, from the $3.99 "Soap Legend Pack" to the $1.99 marijuana-leaf themed "Blunt Force Personalization Pack".

Previous rounds of customization items included Makarov, Zakhaev, Rorke, and Hazmat suit soldier character packs.

Call of Duty: Ghosts' Devastation DLC pack will hit PC, PS3, and PS4 on May 8.

Devastation introduces four small to medium sized multiplayer maps, a new Extinction level, and an appearance from movie monster The Predator. Devastation released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One players on April 3.
