GRID: Autosport reportedly confirmed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360

Codemasters racer to skip next-gen; will release in June

GRID: Autosport is a new installment in Codemasters' racing series, and will release for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 according to a report.

The news comes via BrasilGamer, and follows a teaser video released last week pointing to a April 22 unveil.

According to the site, the game will release June 27 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

CVG has contacted a Codemasters rep to verify the information and will update when we hear back.

According to the BrasilGamer report, GRID: Autosport will be the largest GRID game to date, with night drive marathons to feature. Meanwhile, players can earn sponsorships and compete on online leaderboards, and partake in weekly challenges.

The report continues that five racing modes will be available across 22 locations and more than 100 tracks.

The installment will follow last year's Grid 2. In CVG's Grid 2 review, we said: "Grid 2 is a robust and complete racing package that delivers big on value-for-money and while it's by no means a game of end-to-end thrills, it has its moments. Those that splash out will have their investment repaid in kind, once they get to grips with its foibles."
