All PSP and PSone games available digitally through Sony Entertainment Network Store are now playable on Vita, according to multiple reports.
While Sony has not yet announced, confirmed or detailed Vita support for many of the games in question, NeoGAF users report that a wide range of classic titles can now be played on the handheld.
These include Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Valkyria Chronicles 2, ModNation Racers and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Some users have reported problems getting select games to run, such as Pocket Fighters.
One user wrote: "I previously wasn't able to download or play Brave Story: New Traveler OR Motorstorm Arctic Edge on my Vita. Now I can get them from my download history and put them on the Vita."
Vita support is not listed on the SEN storefront for these games, but the functionality is seemingly being rolled out worldwide. We've contacted Sony for clarification.
