Project Cars' detailed car and track visuals are on display in the latest trailer from Slightly Mad Studios.
Titled 'The Ultimate Driver Journey', the video sweeps across the variety of car types and locations included in the ambitious racing game:
"Jump into the seat of a kart and forge a career with the aim of one day winning a prestigious 24hr race in a LM Prototype car, battle bumper-to-bumper for a third consecutive championship in the world of Touring, or simply take an exotic supercar out for a beautiful drive along the coast," the studio writes.
Project Cars is a crowd-funded racing sim originally announced in 2011 for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and later for Wii U, due for a 2013 release. The game missed its 2013 launch window as the 360 and PS3 versions were canned in favour of PS4 and Xbox One versions, along with the addition of SteamOS, Oculus Rift, and Project Morpheus support.
Slightly Mad promises an accurate racing sim, with real cars and track locations, and the implementation of night lighting, tire deformation, dynamic weather, multiplayer and pit-to-car radio features.
It's planned to release starting in November 2014.
