The Sims 4 confirmed for E3 showcase

EA's latest life sim making an appearance at June expo

EA will be showcasing The Sims 4 at the E3 expo in June.

So confirmed the game's executive producer Rachel Franklin, who said via Twitter, "Hey Simmers. Confirming all the rumors. Yes, The Sims 4 will be at E3."

While very little actual gameplay information has been revealed on The Sims 4, EA promises major improvements to the latest in its popular life sim series.

"The Sims 4 brings all new ways to play with life; powerful new creative tools, all-new Sims with enhanced emotion and intelligence, and a gaming experience where players control the mind, body and heart of their Sims to bring their stories to life like never before," said the publisher in a press release.

The Sims 4 is currently only confirmed for PC and Mac. Pre-orders are available now and will get early buyers the Limited Edition version of the game, which comes with the Life of the Party Digital Content. More info through that link.

The first gameplay trailers were revealed at Gamescom last year.

The Sims 4 has been given an official release window of autumn 2014.
