Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will launch on Origin and other PC platforms on June 24, PopCap has announced.
The class-based online shooter released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in late February. The PC version will pack-in all free content released for the game since then, including the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down packs.
Garden Warfare players join either the Plant or Zombie side, choosing from one of several unique classes for either faction and battling for supremacy in a variety of competitive game modes.
It also includes a single-player/co-op horde mode called Garden Ops, in which a team of Plants defend their base against waves of zombies.
PopCap announced on Saturday that it will add microtransactions to Garden Warfare later this week, letting players buy in-game coins to spend on a variety of packs and character content. Players can unlock all of the same content for free by earning coins in-game.
