Sony Online Entertainment has finally launched its new All-Access Pass systemfollowing a series of last-minute delays.
Originally scheduled to launch on April 2, the All-Access Pass was delayed multiple times, first to April 6, then again to April 23, and once more back to April 29.
In an official statement at the time of the most recent delay, SOE said it needed more time for testing to "ensure that the transition to the new All Access membership plan is as seamless as possible", but didn't offer specific details for the hold up.
The new All-Access Pass membership system lets players of SOE's MMO games to gain membership to all games for $14.99 per month.
Previously, memberships to individual games would cost $14.99, with SOE's then optional All Access Pass offering memberships to all games for $19.99.
As well as the $5 discount on the new All Access Pass, players will also be able to claim 500 Station Cash monthly from within each game's marketplace, receive a ten per cent discount on any further marketplace purchases and gain access to exclusive promotions and offers throughout the year.
The new All-Access Pass covers top-tier membership in SOE's major PC games, including EverQuest, EverQuest II, DC Universe Online, PlanetSide 2 and Vanguard: Saga Of Heroes.
SOE also plans to add Dragon's Prophet to this list in the near future, as well as upcoming titles EverQuest Next and Landmark.
