Valve has partnered with Taito to release Left 4 Dead: Survivors, a new entry in the series designed for Japanese arcades.
Previously referred to as Project Z, the game is reportedly "coming soon".
Taito previously adapted Half-Life 2 for Japanese arcades and released the game as Half-Life 2: Survivors.

Although a third PC and console entry in the Left 4 Dead series has yet to be officially announced, a group of Dota 2 players invited to tour Valve's offices last August reportedly spotted references to Left 4 Dead 3 and Source 2.
In November 2012 Valve boss Gabe Newell confirmed that the studio was working on a new iteration of the Source engine.
