The new instalment in Activision's military shooter series is entitled Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
On Thursday leaked material was provided to Destructoid, including a trailer, a series of screenshots and details on the narrative setting. This media was latter verified and officially published by Activision.
Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Advanced Warfare will focus on a 'soldier of fortune' organisation helmed by an antagonist played by Kevin Spacey. This private military organisation has its target set on the United States government.
The debut trailer above appears to depict several new abilities and mechanics, including parkour aspects and the ability to jump higher than in previous instalments. There is also evidence of vehicles, including a hoverbike.
The game is set to release on PC, last-gen and current-gen consoles on November 4.
Evidence of Spacey's involvement emerged earlier on Thursday when Activision posted an official teaser trailer featuring the actor on the Call of Duty YouTube channel.
Activision announced overnight that it would fully reveal the forthcoming Call of Duty installment on Sunday, May 4.
This year's game will be the first since Activision switched the Call of Duty series to a three year development cycle, adding Sledgehammer Games to a rotation which has traditionally been shared between Infinity Ward and Treyarch.
