EA's new and largely under-wraps Star Wars: Battlefront game will make a much anticipated appearance at E3, the publisher has confirmed.
The game is "coming along very well," said EA CEO Andrew Wilson when quizzed on its progress during a financials call on Tuesday.
While the team has "still lots of work to go," added Wilson, he went on to confirm that the developer "plan[s] to show more of Star Wars: Battlefront at E3" in June, along with multiple other major titles.
The reboot of Star Wars Battlefront was announced at E3 in August, with a teaser trailer shown during EA's press conference.
The game is currently in development at DICE's core Stockholm studio with "veteran" Battlefield developers at the helm.
As well as the Sweden-headquartered outfit, Visceral Games and BioWare are also set to develop Star Wars games following the recent agreement of a multi-year deal between EA and Disney.
