Back in the '90s, life so was much better.
We'd spend our days playing LucasArts point-and-click games, then spend our evenings watching the likes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Now, a decade and a half later, both of these glorious properties are dead. But one artist still remembers them fondly, and has wondered what it would have been like if, back in the day, they had crossed over.
The screens above are from UK-based illustrator Andrew Scaife, who's mocked up what he thinks a Buffy point-and-click adventure would have looked like as developed by LucasArts.
"This was a lot of fun to do," Andrew says on his blog, "particularly in thinking about which scenes to draw and also realising just how suitable the Buffy stories are to this type of game.
"There are so many objects and puzzles to solve. It made me think it would be a good writing exercise to take your story and see if it would fit into this type of game. If it can't then I suspect it's probably lacking a little narrative propulsion."
If you want to get your hands on a print, Andrew will be selling them at the Bristol Comic Expo this weekend so USE car keys ON car and DRIVE there.
