The first trailer for the 3DS Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire remakes has been released.
Announced in early May, both titles will launch worldwide in November 2014.
"Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are a fresh take on Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, which launched in 2003 and were fan-favourite hits on the Game Boy Advance system," The Pokémon Company says. "The new titles promise to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world."
Last week Nintendo reported a net loss for the financial year ended in March following weaker than expected Wii U and 3DS sales.
The company cited October 2013 releases Pokémon X & Y as the handheld's best selling first-party games with 12.26 million sales, ahead of Mario Kart 7 (9.62 million) and Super Mario 3D Land (9.27 million).
