While detailed product information isn't listed on the retailer's website, the $30 Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3 season pass is expected to include a variety of campaign and multiplayer content.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot expects the recently announced Far Cry 4 to perform even better than Far Cry 3, which has sold nine million copies since it released in December 2012. The new game trades the tropical jungles of previous series entries for the fictional Himalyan country of Kyrat.
According to allegedly leaked product details, Far Cry 4 stars Kyrat visitor Ajay Ghale, who becomes locked in a battle with its totalitarian dictator.
Guillemot has said that Far Cry 4 will include "a lot more multiplayer" than its predecessor.
Far Cry 3 DLC included the 'Deluxe Bundle' offering, which contained new single-player missions, extra animals, a fresh quest-giver, plus additional weapons. A well-received standalone expansion titled Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was also released in April 2013.
The Far Cry 4 release date is set for November 18 in North America and November 21 in Europe on consoles and PC. A world gameplay premiere will be shown at E3 on June 9.
