The second State of Decay DLC pack has received a release date and new trailer.
State of Decay: Lifeline will be released this Friday May 30, earlier than its previously expected June launch window.
The DLC features a new map and narrative. It follows a small military outfit tasked with evacuating civilians from a zombie-infested region, and ultimately extracting a team of scientists whose research is vital to combating the outbreak.
Like the game's first DLC pack, Breakdown, Lifeline will be priced at $6.99 / £5.59.
Undead Studios founder Jeff Strain recently said the series will continue past the first game, with multiplayer a sure thing for future entries.
"We have long-term ambitions for the franchise," Strain said. "Wherever we take this, in terms of sequels, multiplayer will be built in from the beginning."
