The characters and locales of Halo will join Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition on Wednesday.
Microsoft announced on Tuesday that the Halo Mash-up pack is ready for launch on Xbox Live, the latest in a line of conversion mods for the exploring and building game.
The $3.99/€3.79/£2.69 pack includes 40 character skins depicting Master Chief, Cortana, Sergeant Johnson, the Arbiter, and many more. It also converts the game's craftable items, menus, and adds 31 music tracks from across the Halo series.
Players can build their own ringworld-inspired sets with new block textures, or explore pre-made worlds based on Silent Cartographer, Sandtrap, Blood Gulch, and others.
Minecraft will release on Xbox One in August. Existing owners of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be able to upgrade to the new versions for a "small fee".
Though the Xbox One and PS4 versions will include bigger maps than their last-gen counterparts, they will not match the PC version's infinite worlds due to save file constraints.
