Battlefield Hardline gameplay reportedly shown in beta footage

Visceral Games to show off the upcoming shooter at E3 next week

What would appear to be Battlefield Hardline gameplay footage from a PC beta has been distributed online.

Originally posted on YouTube before being blocked by publisher EA, the footage is still available from a number of sources including AGB.

As you can see below, it shows off one player exploring an urban city in a number of police vehicles, including a chopper, while they wait in vain for other users to join a multiplayer match.

Following numerous leaks last week, EA officially confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will be shown at E3 2014 on June 9. Dead Space studio Visceral Games is leading development of the shooter, which is expected to launch this autumn, or spring in Australia.

The first Battlefield Hardline gameplay video was posted online last week, although the early footage was meant for internal distribution at EA only.

Hardline is set against the backdrop of "the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals." Visceral VP Steve Papoutsis has also said the studio is "adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer".
