Terraria will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year, publisher 505 Games has announced.
The news was announced on the official Terraria forums. The PS4 version will support both cross-play and cross-save features with the PS Vita version, which is already available.
The PS4 edition will be showcased during behind closed doors sessions next week at E3. The ports will feature all Update 1.2 content, as well as unspecified 'brand new functionality'.
It will release in 2014, though no specific release window was offered.
The recent patch 1.2 update introduced an overhaul to the game's music and art, as well as adding 1000 new items, 100 new enemies, four new bosses, 15 new pets and four new types of wood.
