The 30 best game trailers and videos at E3 2014

We guide you through a collection of absolutely must-watch trailers, gameplay demos and dev videos

The five E3 press conferences were filled with as many promises, hyperbole and soundbites as you'd expect, but spoken word can only take a game so far. Nothing sells your next project quite like a well edited video package, flaunting all its virtues and hiding its many imperfections.

CVG has compiled a huge index of every single E3 game video and trailer and has watched every single one (seriously) in pursuit of finding our favourites. Consider these all must-see material.

Note: Some of you will likely go absolutely crazy that we haven't included videos of Nathan Drake, Scalebound and Crackdown. Sorry, but pedestrian CG trailers aren't awesome.

30) Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha
Proof that sometimes the kitchen sink approach works, Capcom's Dead Rising 3 ushers in the next generation of fan-service

29) Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition
Not stepping too far away from the theme of Capcom fan-service, this video of Guacamelee Super Turbo CE features that epic Ryu intro to Super Street Fighter 2. (PS: If you haven't played this game yet, get on it)

28) Aztez
There's something about the simplicity of Aztez that makes it so alluring. No frills, no dubstep, but lots of mid-air dashes and shield stabs.

27) The Division - Gameplay
While it's natural to be suspicious of Ubisoft trailers these days, this in-game footage of The Division is showing incredible promise (and no CG!)

26) #IDARB
*Hipster voice* what, you've never heard of #IDARB? I thought you liked games.
(Seriously though, this looks super fun!)
