Ubisoft said in January 2013 that Prince of Persia needed "time to breathe and grow". Murmurs about Beyond Good & Evil 2 have persisted for years - creator Michel Ancel said in July 2013 that it would work best on new-gen systems.
Guillemot remained tight-lipped, but he told IGN that the franchises will return to daylight eventually.
"We are not going to stop those properties," Guillemot said. "We are going to work on them. The teams are really looking at what we can come with. I think you will really like what you see in the future. It could take some time to make sure we are really delivering what we want."
