PlayStation-only Destiny content 'exclusive until fall 2015'

Amazon listing suggests PS3 and PS4 extras will come to Xbox next year

PlayStation exclusive Destiny content looks set to make its way to other platforms in 2015.

The PlayStation-only content includes a new co-op Strike mission set on Mars, an additional competitive multiplayer map, and a selection of guns, gear and ships.

According to an Amazon listing for the game: "Exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners includes the Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map, Dust Palace Strike, Weapons, Ships and Gear that will only be on PlayStation until at least Fall 2015."

The western Destiny release date is September 9 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, while a PC release is still under consideration.

The game will be released on September 11 in Japan, exclusively on PlayStation consoles.

PlayStation Plus subscribers were recently granted access to a first-look alpha for Destiny, while Activision will launch the Destiny beta on July 17 for PS3 and PS4 players.
