Agitha will be a playable character in Tecmo Koei's Zelda spin-off, Hyrule Warriors.
That's according to online translations of the latest issue of respected Japanese magazine Famitsu, which also reportedly reveals that the game will feature another mystery character named Lana.
Agitha is a young girl who made her debut in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The self-proclaimed 'princess of the insect kingdom' sends Link on one of the game's most significant fetch quests to gather up 25 breeds of insect scattered around Hyrule.
Famitsu didn't share any further information on the character other than her unexpected return as a playable fighter. Agitha joins Link, Princess Zelda and Midna on the game's playable roster list.
Recently it was reported that the Legend of Zelda themed spin-off of Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors series will use the Wii U GamePad for its two-player mode and star Impa as a playable character.
One player will see the action on the GamePad screen while the other will play normally on the television. Though multiplayer is rare for Zelda outside of Four Swords, previous Dynasty Warriors games have supported multiplayer modes with split-screen and online play.
The Hyrule Warriors release date has been confirmed as August 14.
