The Vita version of popular indie platformer Mutant Mudds Deluxe will be free to US PlayStation Plus subscribers from Tuesday, June 24.
The game will join the US Instant Game Collection (IGC) as part of this week's US PlayStation Store update, Sony has confirmed.
Mutant Mudds is a tricky 2D platformer which made its debut as a 3DS digital title in January 2012. The game has since been ported to several other platforms, including its PS Vita release in December 2013.
The game won't be free for long, however, as Sony has confirmed that it will be removed from the IGC list on July 1, along with Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Pixeljunk Shooters Ultimate, Trine 2: Complete Story, NBA 2K14 and Terraria.
Sony recently announced plans to standardize PlayStation Plus' IGC updates, giving players a month to access every game offered on the service.
IGC titles are presently introduced sporadically throughout the month, where they would remain accessible for varying amounts of time. Starting in July, Sony will add two titles each to the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita Instant Game Collections on the first Tuesday of each month in North America or Wednesday in Europe, with the previous month's titles expiring that same day.
