Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is released on PC today, and EA has published a new trailer to celebrate.
The class-based online third-person shooter was released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in late February.
The PC version packs in all free content released for the game since then, including the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down packs (the latter being a Wild West themed update with eight new playable characters and a new Cactus Canyon map).
PC players also get access to an exclusive co-op and multiplayer map called Jewel Junction, which is set near a train line.
In Garden Warfare players join either the Plant or Zombie side, choosing from one of several unique classes for either faction and battling for supremacy in a variety of competitive game modes. It also includes a single-player/co-op horde mode called Garden Ops, in which a team of Plants defend their base against waves of zombies.
In our Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare review we said it will "enrapture younger players with its characters and style" but pointed out that "other games manage to do this while catering for those interested in the actual game underneath the affable exterior."
The game will be coming to PS3 and PS4 on August 19 worldwide.
