Alien Isolation pre-order bonus DLC reunites original movie cast

Two bonus levels will be based on classic scenes from Ridley Scott's film

Key cast members from Ridley Scott's 1979 film Alien will be reunited in a number of Alien Isolation pre-order bonus DLC missions.

Sigourney Weaver and a number of her movie co-stars will offer their voice and likeness to two extra levels based on classic scenes from the film, one which will be included in the Nostromo Edition (Crew Expendable) and the other at select retailers in the UK (Last Survivor).

The other stars set to feature in the DLC include Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Yaphet Kotto (Parker) and Ian Holm (Ash).

Customers who pre-order physical copies of the game (digital offerings may differ) will automatically be upgraded to the Nostromo Edition.

In the Crew Expendable mission, players can take on the role of Ripley, Dallas or Parker in the moments following Brett's death, and are tasked with exploring the Nostromo in a coordinated effort with Lambert and Ash to lure the xenomorph into the ship's airlock.

Additionally, UK consumers who pre-order at select retailers (again, digital offerings may differ), and US customers who pre-order at GameStop, will receive the Last Survivor mission, in which Ripley attempts to activate the self-destruct sequence on the Nostromo before escaping on the Narcissus.

Alien Isolation creative lead Alistair Hope said: "It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie.

"For some of the original cast, this is their first appearance in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience."

Sega has confirmed an Alien Isolation release date of October 7 on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
