Halo: Nightfall 'first-look' confirmed for Comic Con

Halo: The Master Chief collection dev panel also planned

Microsoft will host a 'first look' at Halo: Nightfall at the San Diego Comic Con this month, the company has confirmed.

Halo: Nightfall is a new live-action digital series helmed by Ridley Scott, and is to be included as part of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.


Episodes of the show will be aired weekly starting on the game's release date of November 11, 2014.

343 Industries' Kiki Wolf, Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor and "key Halo: Nightfall cast and crew" will be present at the panel on Thursday, July 24 at 11:45am, where Microsoft says you can "be among the first to get the details of the story and production".

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will itself be the topic of its own panel on Friday, July 25 at 10:15am. 343's senior producer Neddins Ries will join O'Connor and Certain Affinity president (and Halo 2's original multiplayer design lead Max Hoberman to talk about the upcoming Xbox One compilation.

Sunset Overdrive will also get a panel on July 24 at 5pm, and will be among over 20 games will playable at the show, including Evolve, Forza Horizon 2, Super Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix, The Evil Within, The Crew, and Project Spark.
