New The Witcher 3 gameplay demo confirmed for Comic Con

30 minutes of previously unpublished footage promised

CD Projekt Red will present brand new gameplay footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at the San Diego Comic Con later this month.

Attendees will be treated to "30 hot minutes of live Witcher 3: Wild Hunt unpublished gameplay", promised the developer in an announcement on Thursday.

The event will feature a Q&A session with The Witcher developers, including Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt of Rivia.

The demo will be presented to a limited crowd of 1000 people on Thursday July 24, although it's unclear how entry into the event will be handled. It's also unclear if/when the footage may be released online to the wider public. "More info" is promised soon.

Footage taken from a larger E3 demo was released in June showing protagonist Geralt attempting to get information from a child-like creature (a godling) who has lost their voice.

Following a delay, The Witcher 3 release date is now February 24, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Comic con takes place July 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center, California.
