Publishing label 2K has released a behind-the-scenes developer diary with 2K Australia, the team behind the upcoming first-person shooter and RPG hybrid Borderlands: The Pre Sequel.
In the video, various members of the development team, as well as representatives from principal Borderlands studio Gearbox, discuss how they felt about announcing a new game, where the idea came from, and how the duties are split up between the two teams.
Borderlands: The Pre Sequel is being principally developed at 2K Australia, with supervision from series creator Gearbox. The shooter takes place between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, and focuses on the rise of the second game's primary antagonist, Handsome Jack.
It's currently headed to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on October 17, though Gearbox says it has not ruled out a next-gen release.
