The Wii U version of Project Cars won't be released until 2015, according to worldwide distributor Bandai Namco.
The publisher's UK marketing & PR director Lee Kirton said on Twitter: "To confirm .@WMDCars #projectcars will release November on #ps4 #xboxone #pc and #WiiU is coming 2015."
Slightly Mad Studios' crowd-funded racing sim was first announced in 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and later for Wii U. It missed its original 2013 launch window as the 360 and PS3 versions were canned in favor of PS4 and Xbox One editions, along with the addition of SteamOS and Oculus Rift.
According to the official blurb, "Project Cars allows you to create a driver, pick from a huge variety of motorsports, and shift into high gear to chase a number of Historic Goals and ultimate recognition in the Hall Of Fame. Then test your skills online either in competitive fully-loaded race weekends, leaderboard-based time challenges, or continually-updated community events - sometimes for real-world prizes."
The first Project Cars PS4 screenshots were published in May.
