Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay trailer incites revolution

A new trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity shows main character Arno Dorian inciting revolution against the French aristocracy.

New scenes show him stalking through angry crowds, leaping down the side of a building, and felling guards with his hidden blades.

"For centuries, my countrymen have suffered under the oppression of an arrogant and decadent aristocracy," the assassin narrates.

"The common people cry out for food, for liberty, for justice. But they shall have no justice without someone to fight in their name."

Creative director Alex Amancio has described Unity as "a new narrative start" for the franchise, including a new context for its present-day events.

Ubisoft recently confirmed that it has turned its multiplayer focus to co-op for Assassin's Creed Unity, which means it will not include a competitive multiplayer mode.

The Assassin's Creed Unity release date is set for October 28 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
