Mass Effect 4 to be detailed at Comic-Con 2014 panel

BioWare Edmonton and Montreal to discuss 'Developing the Next Mass Effect'

Mass Effect 4 will be discussed during a Comic-Con 2014 panel hosted by BioWare later this month.

The panel will feature talent from both BioWare Edmonton and Montreal studios, with lead animator Carl Boulay, producers Fabrice Condominas and Mike Gamble, senior artist Noel Lukasewich and community manager Jessica Merizan to sit the panel.

During the discussion, the speakers will "share their experiences in shaping the next Mass Effect game with new possibilities while staying true to the critically acclaimed series."

The panel will take place July 26, and while specifics on Mass Effect 4 may not be forthcoming, it's likely the discussion will provide more details on the in-development title.

While the game has been confirmed for some time, it is yet to be publicly shown aside from prototype footage aired at E3 2014 last month.

The game was in a 'playable state' in late 2013, and was "somewhere in the middle" of development as of May.

In the meantime, rumours abound that BioWare will release a Mass Effect Trilogy for Xbox One and PS4.
