US Club Nintendo offers free games for 'Elite Status'

This year's rewards are digital Wii U and 3DS digital titles

Nintendo has confirmed this year's list of Club Nintendo Elite Status rewards, and they all games.

Club Nintendo is a website where Nintendo players can register their game purchases to earn 'Coins'. An Elite Status is earned when a user clocks up 300 (Gold status) or 600 (Platinum Status) coins within a year ending June 30.

Gold and Platinum Status members earn a free reward at the end of the year. In previous years, rewards have typically included physical memorabilia including cards, badges, stickers and posters, or simple peripherals such as a 3DS/DS stylus or carry pouch.

This year, Nintendo is offering a free downloadable game from a selection of Wii U and 3DS titles.

Gold Status members can only choose from the Gold Status rewards list, while Platinum Status members can choose any game they like.

Users must choose their reward by 11:59pm PT on August 15, 2014. Once a reward is redeemed you will receive an eShop download code to redeem via the Wii U or 3DS.
