Respawn has announced a July 31 release date for the latest Titanfall DLC on Xbox One and PC.
The Frontier's Edge map pack will include three new battlegrounds: the isolated mining outpost of Dig Site, the exclusive beach resort of Haven, and a mining hub on the side of a mountain called Export.
The DLC will cost £7.99/$10.99 standalone. It can also be purchased as part of the £19.99/$29.99 Titanfall season pass, which includes access to a total of three planned map packs. The first, Expedition, launched in May.
- Export: The nearby mines fueled this large Militia settlement, an important exporting hub built on the side of a mountain that recalls the gold rush boom-towns from centuries earlier. Overshadowed by a massive armature that controls an offshore lock system for marine transport, Export caters to close-quarter, house-to-house combat for ground troops
- Dig Site: Mining operations are on hold while the Militia defend this crucial asset against IMC attacks. Surrounded by sheer rock walls that offer natural protection against air assault, the site becomes a bloody ground war characterized by titan skirmishes over subtle elevation changes in the terrain, and a mix of short and medium-range engagements for pilots.
- Haven: An exclusive beach resort built on the edge of a massive crater lake, Haven normally caters to the wealthy elite of the Frontier. Pilots utilize the sheer walls of hotel skyscrapers to gain high ground while Titans take cover inside art galleries and luxury restaurants.
A Titanfall Black Market feature was announced earlier this week. It allows players to purchase Burn Cards and Titan Insignias using a newly introduced in-game currency. Credits are earned by playing and winning matches, playing the game every day or completing daily challenges. They can also be acquired by getting rid of unwanted Burn Cards.
