The Walking Dead Season 3 confirmed

Telltale announces plans for more episodic content at San Diego Comic-Con

Telltale Games is to make a third season of its episodic The Walking Dead series.

Studio co-founder Kevin Bruner confirmed the news at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend. Plot details or release windows weren't discussed.

Telltale released the fourth episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 last week on PC, consoles and iOS.

As with the first instalment of the game, Season 2 will comprise five episodes, which are set for release by the end of 2014. Episode 1, 2 and 3 launched in December, March and May respectively.

Telltale confirmed in May that Fables: The Wolf Among Us and both seasons of The Walking Dead are headed to PS4 and Xbox One.

The studio is also working on an episodic adaptation of HBO's Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands, based on Gearbox Software's loot-driven FPS series.
