In a new blog post, published on the studio's website, company co-founder Steve Gaynor wrote it "will be continuing our focus on creating immersive, unforgettable story exploration video games".

Meanwhile, in a job listing on the site, Fullbright explained it is looking for a programmer and animator to help it build its next story adventure.

"As with Gone Home, our focus is on immersive, first-person story exploration games," the job listing reads.

Gaynor also explained the studio's name has changed from The Fullbright Company to simply 'Fullbright'.

Gone Home, Fullbright's debut project since the studio formed in early 2012, shipped in August 2013 and was widely prised for how its narrative unfolded.

A month since its release, the PC game went on to sell more than 50,000 copies.

In March, Fullbright revealed that Gone Home is being ported to "consoles", following a partnership with publishing label Midnight City. Specific release platforms have yet to be announced.
