Project Cars Limited Edition and pre-order exclusive Modified Car Pack will give players instant access to notable new rides, Slightly Mad Studios and Namco Bandai announced Monday.
The game's limited edition includes a special steel case with four sleeve designs and a behind-the-scenes book. It also unlocks five "legendary cars" for use in any game mode: the McLaren F1, the Sauber C9, the BMW M1 ProCar, the Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupé DTM and the 1967 Ford Mk IV.
The Modified Car Pack includes the stripped down, tuned-up Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, the open-top Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster hypercar, and the Ariel Atom 3 Mugen kart.
According to Project Cars' official Twitter account, the Limited Edition will be available exclusively at GAME while the Modified Car Pack will be offered through Amazon in the UK. Price and international retailers have not yet been confirmed for either product.
Slightly Mad Studios' crowd-funded racing sim was first announced in 2011 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and later for Wii U. It missed its original 2013 launch window as the 360 and PS3 versions were canned in favor of PS4 and Xbox One editions, along with the addition of SteamOS and Oculus Rift.
It's planned for launch in November, though the Wii U version will not release until some time in 2015.
