Konami has announced the release date for PES 2015.
The latest instalment of its football series will be released on November 13 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Konami has also confirmed that a demo for all console versions will be released on September 17.
Crucially, this is a week before the release date of FIFA 15, making it clear that Konami intends to try to impress FIFA fans to wait before they buy the latest instalment of EA's game.
PES 2015 is being developed by both the usual Tokyo-based team and the recently opened UK PES Productions studio in Windsor, and "sees a true return to core PES values of total control, super responsive controls and renowned gameplay, where the user has unrestricted control over how they play".
New features in the latest version include a new shooting system, reworked close control for one-on-ones and bespoke player dribbling skills.
The game will make use of the FOX Engine currently being used in the development of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
