World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor will launch on November 13, Blizzard announced on Thursday.
The firm revealed the date for the next expansion to its nearly ten-year-old MMORPG at a special event held at a theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Blizzard revealed the new CGI opening cinematic for the game at the event, showing what would have happened if the orcs had refused to ally themselves with the demonic Burning Legion 35 years before the events of World of Warcraft.
Warlords of Draenor will explore the franchise's history across the new continent of Draenor, formerly presented as the shattered Outland. It will also increase World of Warcraft's level cap to 100 and offer players the option to immediately boost one new or existing character to level 90.
The pack will introduce new zones, dungeons, and PvP areas, including the perpetual battlefield of Ashran, where players can loot half of their fallen foes' PvP currency.
The expansion will also introduce visual upgrades that'll increase the polygon counts of some player models more than fivefold.
