Titanfall Frontier's Edge DLC, game update 5 hit Xbox 360

Three new multiplayer maps and a marketplace for buying and selling burn cards

EA has released the latest Titanfall DLC and game update on Xbox 360.

Launched three weeks ago on Xbox One and PC, Titanfall's Frontier's Edge DLC includes three new multiplayer maps, while game update 5 introduces a marketplace for buying and selling burn cards, among other features.

The DLC can be purchased for £7.99/$9.99 standalone, or bought as part of the £19.99/$29.99 Titanfall season pass, which includes access to a total of three planned map packs. The first, Expedition, released in May, while the third, IMC Rising, will launch this autumn.

Frontier's Edge maps:

  • Export: The nearby mines fueled this large Militia settlement, an important exporting hub built on the side of a mountain that recalls the gold rush boom-towns from centuries earlier. Overshadowed by a massive armature that controls an offshore lock system for marine transport, Export caters to close-quarter, house-to-house combat for ground troops
  • Dig Site: Mining operations are on hold while the Militia defend this crucial asset against IMC attacks. Surrounded by sheer rock walls that offer natural protection against air assault, the site becomes a bloody ground war characterized by titan skirmishes over subtle elevation changes in the terrain, and a mix of short and medium-range engagements for pilots.
  • Haven: An exclusive beach resort built on the edge of a massive crater lake, Haven normally caters to the wealthy elite of the Frontier. Pilots utilize the sheer walls of hotel skyscrapers to gain high ground while Titans take cover inside art galleries and luxury restaurants.

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall receives updates and DLC later than other platforms due it being handled by an external developer, Bluepoint.

EA explained in May: "We're working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn's updates."
