GBA Fire Emblem bound for Wii U Virtual Console in Europe this week

Kirby and Donkey Kong also headed to the eShop

Wii U owners in UK and Europe will be able to download the critically acclaimed Fire Emblem Game Boy Advance game starting Thursday, August 21.

Known as Fire Emblem: The Sword of Flame in Japan, Fire Emblem was the first in the series on GBA to be released in Europe and US back in 2004. A US Virtual Console release is yet to be confirmed.

Fire Emblem will be joined on the EU Wii U eShop by Donkey Kong and Kirby's Adventures from the NES, and Super Nintendo game Kirby's Dream Land 3.

Meanwhile, the 3DS eShop will see the arrival of 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land and Kirby's Dream Land 2, all from the Game Boy, and downloadable version of Super Pokemon Rumble.

Look out for the EU eShop update list on Thursday.
