EA Sports Season Ticket will be discontinued in March 2015, with all service benefits set to expire in March 2016.
Launched in August 2011, the Xbox 360 and PS3 subscription service offers members early digital access to full games in the FIFA, Madden, NHL Hockey, Tiger Woods PGA Tour and NCAA Football series, plus a 20 per cent discount on DLC purchases.
EA explained: "As more and more of our fans move to the new generation of consoles, we felt the time was right to start the process of concluding Season Ticket for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
"The Season Ticket benefits are still available for FIFA 15, NHL 15 and Madden NFL 15, at a new lower price of $19.99."
The company said it has no plans to introduce EA Sports Season Ticket on Xbox One and PS4. Instead, it intends to focus on EA Access.
EA Access is a subscription service for Xbox One that serves up EA games for a monthly or annual fee.
Subscribers can also save ten per cent on digital content purchases, and receive early access to select games beginning with FIFA 15, Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, NBA LIVE 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition.
While EA Access is now available on Microsoft's latest console, Sony declined the opportunity to bring the service to PS4, claiming that it did not offer "good value" to its customers.
