The Vanishing of Ethan Carter has been given a new 13-minute long gameplay video offering the most in-depth look at the mysterious game so far.
The video was released Thursday alongside confirmation of a September 25 release - a day earlier than previously stipulated by the game's retail publisher Nordic Games.
A PS4 version, confirmed at Gamescom earlier this month, will be released in early 2015.
Created by The Astronauts, a Warsaw-based studio founded by three former members of Gears of War: Judgment dev People Can Fly, the first-person exploration game lets players assume the role of a detective with the supernatural ability to visualize the scenes of people's deaths.
"The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a story-driven mystery game that focuses entirely on exploration and discovery, featuring no combat or explosions of any kind," detailed The Astronauts founder Adrian Chmierlarz in a Gamescom announcement in August. More gameplay details are here.
