Several new Nintendo hardware bundles will hit US retail this autumn, the firm announced on Friday.
Physical copies Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land will be added to the $299.99 Wii U Deluxe Set, replacing the current bundle's offerings of New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. This marks the return of Nintendo Land, which was included as part of the original Wii U Deluxe Set.
A Walmart-exclusive Wii U bundle will come bundled with physical copies of Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Land for $299.99. Both Wii U bundles will release starting in mid-September.
Nintendo also introduced three new 2DS bundles including the Electric Blue, Crimson Red, and Sea Green systems and a download code for Mario Kart 7 for $129.99 slated to hit stores in early October.
3DS and 3DS XL bundles are absent from the new lineup, likely because Nintendo announced both systems will soon receive a hardware update: the new models add a second thumbstick, two more shoulder buttons, a faster processor, and improved 3D display.
The new 3DS and 3DS XL are set to release in Japan this year and in Europe and North America in 2015.
