Register Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS, get free soundtrack CDs

Club Nintendo offers bonus for buying both versions

Brawling fans who buy both console versions of Super Smash Bros for Wii U & 3DS and register them on Club Nintendo will receive complimentary soundtrack CDs.

The offer, which is valid both for Europe and North America, furnishes fans with the Super Smash Bros. Premium Sound Selection's Red and Blue discs, presumably showcasing music from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game.

Nintendo previously published a series of minute-long snippets which offer a listen in on the new musical selections which will score the upcoming fighter. The firm says more details about the promotion are "on the way".

The company also revealed a new take on the game's All-Star battle mode which lets players take on each character based on the year of their first release.

The 3DS edition of Super Smash Bros. is due to release in October, while the Wii U version is slated to arrive in the holiday season.

A special 3DS XL Smash Bros. bundle will also be available at launch, featuring a limited edition red handheld with a Smash Bros. graphic on it.
