EA has announced it will be adding Need For Speed Rivals to the Vault section of its EA Access service on Xbox One.
The publisher also confirmed that trial versions of two upcoming titles are also planned for September, with a six-hour trial of NHL 15 due this Thursday September 4, and one for FIFA 15 coming later in the month.
EA Access trials allow subscribers to download and play the full version of upcoming games (for a set number of hours, usually six) up to five days before they're released.
"We were incredibly excited to see so many gamers jump in to the recent Madden NFL 15 trial," EA stated. "Together, EA Access members put in a total of 245,000 total hours playing Madden NFL 15 before the game was even released."
Announced in late July and going live in early August, EA Access is an Xbox One exclusive service that requires a subscription of £3.99 / $4.99 a month or £19.99 / $29.99 a year.
For this, players will get unlimited access to the games in the Vault and free trials, as well as 10% off any other EA games or content on the Xbox One digital store.
Sony reportedly turned down the EA Access service as it felt it didn't offer "good value" to its customers.
