Featuring the coolest aspects of the Tony Hawks games, SSX and Airblade, this one game could justify inline skating to the world.
Some things you can do wearing skates just aren't possible on a board or BMX. Finally, somebody has taken hold of this concept, put it into a videogame and run with it, big time. The result: by far the fastest, and literally off-the-wall skate game we've played. It's speedy, full of cool tricks, and stupid too – in a good way – with its fantastically, acrobatically over-the-top fun. This will take you places Tony Hawk's and Mat Hoffman would dare to try but never reach.
HEAT YO' FEET
Unlike most other THPS-type games, you're not up against the clock in Aggressive Inline. Instead, you're pressed to perform for a thirsty Juice Meter. This is similar to the Boost or Tricky meters in the SSX games, in that the more juice you have, the faster your skater travels, and more daring stunts become possible. Gain juice by performing complex stunt and/or grind combos. Lose it by bailing or simply giving up trying to impress. When your Juice Meter is full, your skates set on fire. Yeehaw!
PRESS IT, SEE WHAT HAPPENS
Another helpful feature is the 'action' button. Its most basic function is to chat with onlookers, who'll give tasks to perform for points. While skating, the button helps you vault over walls and other obstacles. It also enables you to swing around horizontal and vertical poles, and skitch. It definitely makes the game more dynamic.
