Agassi Tennis Generation Review

Play tennis... that's it

Play tennis... that's it

more than just a tennis game, Agassi Tennis Generation is also a Billy No-Mates simulation. Agassi appears alone - there's no Henman, no Lleyton Hewitt and no women at all. If you want to see the Williams sisters' jubblies bouncing about, you'll just have to go elsewhere. Huh.

This is standard videogame tennis fare, with few frills other than the baldy munchkin himself. There are no exciting mini-game challenges and just a couple of play modes. The Agassi Championship mode offers you $10,000 to spend on developing a career, while the arcade mode offers quick matches.

No surprises then, but the tennis is playable and the character models look nice. But with ageing masterpiece Virtua Tennis available on PC for a budget price, there's little to recommend this.

The verdict

Score
6.0 10

Good tennis, but lacks fun modes and famous faces.
