TOCA Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator

As we announced exclusively last month, TOCA 2 on PSP is set to give you a taste of just about every conceivable driving genre, from rallying to stock cars to truck racing. There are 15 types of race in all, which means that the TOCA 2 in your pocket is exactly the same as the version on your TV screen.


And unlike some titles (ahem, Need for Speed Underground Rivals, cough) we're confident that the patented TOCA handling will make the transfer to PSP with ease to provide solid, dependable racing. Right now, TOCA 2 is set to offer the most complete wireless racing experience, with up to eight players racing at a time. There are 21 cars in the single-player races too, although this means that the detail level on the vehicles isn't quite on a par with some other titles. The only problem we can see is this: if you've got Gran Turismo 4 for gearheads and Ridge Racer and Need for Speed Underground Rivals for arcade fans, TOCA 2 could struggle to find a niche in the already crowded PSP racing genre.
