Tiger Woods PGA Tour

Tiger Woods is the best golf game ever. Fact. PSP is the best handheld ever. Double fact. Put the two together and you've got the best handheld golf game ever. Triple fact. The only slight worry right now is whether the analogue stick will work well enough for the innovative club swinging mechanic to work. Ah, hell, course it will.

But like many PSP games at the moment, it's the wireless multiplayer modes that are really getting us fired up. As well as being able to pass the PSP between players for a kind of pikey multiplayer experience, the more refined amongst you will be able to enjoy stat-tracking for every wireless competitor and all manner of competition modes, as well as a frenetic game that's something like a golfing version of 'Horse', the Tony Hawk fave.

And make no mistake: Tiger Woods is only the spearhead of EA's PSP invasion. The games are only going to get bigger and glossier from here on. But can Tiger really cut it on the small screen? We'll be first with a review extremely soon.
