Officially Pimped, part 2: Midnight Club 3 goes heavy metal

Modding motors with more muscle than a steroid-pumped bodybuilder in the second part of our MC3: DUB Edition series
In part 1 of Officially Pimped, our three part series examining the mental modification options open to you in Rockstar's Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, we showed you how you'll be able to trick out your favourite tuner cars.

But if you know about DUB, you'll know that those lightweight street rockets don't show off your status as well as a heavyweight monster sporting so much chrome you need shades to look at it.

So in part 2 of Officially Pimped we're offering you a glimpse at the vehicles that really define the DUB movement: huge 4x4 sports utility vehicles riding on ridiculously big rims and packing more horsepower under the bonnet than the Charge of the Light Brigade.

The Cadillac Escalade is the pinnacle of this kind of vehicle, and no doubt you'll have seen it countless times in hip-hop videos. Our first video shows off some of the brutal customisations you can slam onto this rock solid high roller.

But like George Foreman, old muscle still punches hard. MC3: DUB Edition isn't forgetting its roots by featuring a fat range of old-school beasts begging to be overhauled and hauled over the streets. Our second video shoves a fully flexed '68 Camaro up in your grill and offers a couple of subtle - and not-so-subtle - customisation suggestions.

On top of that we've got a bunch of new screens offering even more ideas about how you can pimp your MC3 ride. Check out the Hummer H2 - it's the only motor in the world that can swallow monstrous 28" rims...

We've got a full hands-on with MC3: DUB Edition here, and you should check back soon for part 3 of our Officially Pimped series.

MC3: DUB Edition rolls onto Xbox and PS2 on April 15, with a PSP version to follow.
